Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
Generic template, not legal advice. It is not tailored to your business, location, or industry. Replace the operator name, email, and any jurisdiction language with your own, and have a lawyer review it before you rely on it — especially if you sell anything or collect customer information.
Who this covers
This policy describes how Northroom (“we”, “us”), the operator of the Northroom website, handles information when you visit the site. It is a generic template for a simple page that does not run accounts or take payment. If you later add a shop, a newsletter, or analytics, rewrite this policy before you turn those on.
Information you send us
The contact form does not submit to a server. It opens the email application on your device, addressed to hello@northroom.studio, with the name, email, and note you typed. If you send that email, we receive whatever you chose to include, the same way we would receive any other email.
We use that message to read it and reply. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. We keep it for as long as the conversation is active, and then delete it when we no longer need it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Your email provider also stores the message under its own rules.
Information collected automatically
We do not run our own analytics, and this site does not ask you to create an account. The company that hosts the website may keep ordinary connection logs — such as IP address, date and time, browser type, and the page requested — in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Those logs are the host’s, kept for the host’s usual security period.
Cookies and similar tools
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not load third-party trackers. Your browser may store the ordinary technical data required to load a page. If a later version adds optional analytics, this policy will say so before that starts.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- with the email and hosting providers that make the site and the inbox work;
- if the law, a court, or a government request requires it;
- if we need to protect the site, our rights, or other people from harm;
- if the operator of the site changes, in which case this policy still describes the practice unless a new one replaces it.
Your choices
You can use the site without emailing us. If you have emailed us and want a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, write to hello@northroom.studio. We will honor requests we are legally required to, and other requests we can reasonably fulfill. Some laws (including, where they apply, access, deletion, and correction rights) cannot be waived by this template. This policy does not limit those rights.
If you are in a place with its own privacy law, that law applies to you. This template does not claim a particular legal basis, a data-protection officer, or a cross-border transfer mechanism. Add those if your lawyer says you need them.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to us and we will delete the message.
Where information sits
If you email us from another country, your message will be processed where we and our email provider keep mail. That may be a different country from yours, with different privacy rules.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version here and changing the date at the top. The new version applies from that date. For how the site may be used more broadly, see the terms of service.
